About the event

Our theme this year at Reversing Falls Sanctuary for our Winter-into-Spring series is “Refugia.” This term refers to little pockets of safety, hidden shelters where folks can find a combination of solace, realistic hope, practical help and inspiration. We have recently heard the stories of Tinder Hearth and H.O.M.E., two stellar examples of refugia in our midst. On Sunday, March 22nd at 2 pm, we will hear the stories of Acadia Action, the Brooklin Food Corps and Healthy Peninsula. In these times of chaos, disruption and ecological crisis, the beloved community comes together.  Please join us so that we can learn what different community organizations are doing, how we can collaborate with each other, and how we can nurture resilience so that all our friends and neighbors can flourish.  As Robin Wall Kimmerer says, “All flourishing is mutual.”  We are all interconnected; we are all one.

All are welcome!
