Winter Solstice Celebration
Sunday, December 21st. 2025, 2 pm
Please join us as we honor this beautiful Earth feast of the Winter Solstice – sol sticere – sun stands still. Joseph Campbell wrote “Movement is time, but stillness is eternity.” The sun’s pausing in its journey today opens up, according to the ancient ones, a liminal space, a thin veil when spirit and matter interconnect intimately. Let us come together and open ourselves to this mystical possibility offered to us by our beloved Mother Earth.
The lessening of light and the increase of darkness are necessary ingredients for the Earth’s nourishment. They enable the fallow process to happen. How is this mirrored in our own lives? Come and reflect, sing, light candles, share conversation and share a nibble of bread, apple and honey!
