In conjunction with the Maine Community Foundation, Reversing Falls Sanctuary welcomes writers to a day-long retreat of generative and experimental writing. Writers will enjoy creating new work through morning pages, prompts, and workshops. Reversing Falls is a creative and open environment where writers will hold space for themselves and each other to help tap their personal well of creativity. Writers are encouraged to be open to guided writing practice. Writers will come away with new work in its early stages and ideas on moving forward with future writing and revision.

Audrey Minutolo-Le teaches narrative writing, creative writing and literature at the University of Maine. She shares her passion for self-expression through writing and offers workshops in poetry, narrative prose, memoir, and nature- and travel-writing where writers experiment with their writing 'voice' and the elements of good narration. Her work has been published by Rowman Littlefield Publishers, Down East Magazine, Down East Books and Habitat: The Maine Audubon Society. Her first novel, Gray Ledges, will be released by Rowman Littlefield Publishers/DownEast Books in 2024.

Writers are encouraged to bring their open minds, respectful ideas, a notebook and writing implement and a laptop computer.
