RFS has been sending out an appeal letter (at times with some handmade art) each year to those in our community that have shared a mailing address with us. Since our interested community is much larger than our land based mailing list, I'm including this year's appeal letter in our blog so that it reaches the larger computer based audience.
The appeal letter effort is the work of many volunteers at RFS. The initial text is shared around a small group for edits and additions, then it goes to another for some eye catching graphics work, then a digital copy is sent off to the printer and when it returns the letter is then taken up by the envelop stuffer and stamper and lastly off it goes to the post office.
